Shine

"Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16

From the darkness shines the lightof faith-filled hearts boldenough to believe, mindfully standing in the presenceof the Divine Lightguiding the way. Waiting, delightingon the journey, intent on makingthe change neededto simplify life,faith-filled hearts walk from the darknessinto the light, admiring the worldand its good works.Once in the light, they pause and reflect.SELAH©CVarsalona, 2016

On Spiritual Journey Thursday, Holly Mueller, a fellow slicer, asks the community of bloggers to discuss the spiritual aspect of each other's one little word for 2016. This week we are discussing Doraine Bennett's word, shine. It is a hopeful word guiding us as a lantern on the path toward the light, plus it is a perfect word to ponder on Holy Thursday. You can read what other SJT bloggers write about shine here. (The above poem holds the one words of the twelve SJT bloggers.)
This post is the twenty-fourth one in my Clearing a Path series for Two Writing Teachers' March Slice of Life - Day 24.
